A Speedway gas station was robbed at gunpoint early Monday in west suburban Naperville.

Two males — one armed with a handgun — entered the gas station about 3 a.m. at the southwest corner of Route 59 and 111th Street, according to Naperville police Commander Mike Son.

They took an undisclosed amount of merchandise from the store before fleeing west on 111th Street in a dark-colored vehicle, Son said.

Son would not confirm if the suspects also stole money. He said no one was hurt in the incident.

Anyone with information is asked to call Naperville police at 630-420-6666.
