A Chase Bank was robbed in the Loop Wednesday by a male who slipped the bank teller a threatening note.

The robber entered the bank about 5 p.m. at 35 W. Wacker Dr. and gave the teller a note that said he had a bomb in his suitcase, Chicago police said. The teller gave him an unknown amount of money before he fled on foot.

The robber was described as a male wearing a red baseball cap, white t-shirt, khaki shorts and Timberland boots, police said. No one is in custody at the moment.
