A man was found dead after an apparent hit-and-run at the Chicago city limits Sunday near O’Hare International Airport.

A man was found dead Sunday after he was hit by a vehicle near O’Hare International Airport on the Northwest Side.

Police were called about a body found in the street at 4:09 a.m. in the 12500 block of West Touhy Avenue, at the city limits outside the airport, according to Chicago police.

The man, identified as 45-year-old Felipe Ramirez Garcia of Mount Prospect, suffered multiple injuries when a vehicle hit him, according to police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office. An autopsy Monday ruled his death an accident.

The CPD Major Accidents Investigation Unit is treating the case as a hit-and-run, police said.
