Police are warning Little Village residents about a pair of robberies that occurred in the Southwest Side neighborhood in May.

In both incidents, one or more offenders approached the victim, beat them and took their property by force, Chicago police said.

The robberies happened a block apart from each other on South Kedzie Avenue between 9:10 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. The first one occurred May 11 in the 2500 block and the second May 25 in the 2600 block.

Police did not provide a description of the offenders.
