A 47-year-old man was injured in an attack Friday by someone he met on a dating app in Lake View, police said.

He got into an argument with a male he met about 6:32 p.m. in a home in the 600 block of West Aldine Avenue, Chicago police said. The male hit the 47-year-old in the head multiple times with a hammer.

He was taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center in good condition and didn’t wish to pursue criminal charges, police said.
