Six people were wounded Tuesday in citywide shootings, including a woman in critical condition after a drive-by in Gresham on the South Side.

About 9 p.m., the 23-year-old woman was standing on a corner in the 7500 block of South Stewart Avenue when a black vehicle drove by and someone inside opened fire, Chicago police said.

The woman was shot in the face, back and left leg, police said. She was taken to Stroger Hospital. The vehicle fled eastbound on 75th Street.

Area South detectives are investigating.

Four of Tuesday’s shooting victims were teenagers, wounded in three separate shootings across the city.

In the latest incident, two teenage boys were shot in Rogers Park on the North Side.

They were outside about 9:30 p.m. in the 7300 block of North Rogers Avenue when they heard shots and realized they were struck, police said.

A 17-year-old boy was shot in the leg, and a 15-year-old boy was hit in the ankle, police said. The pair took themselves to Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston and are in good condition.

The boys did not offer a description of who shot them, police said.

Area North detectives are investigating.

A 13-year-old boy was struck by a stray bullet during a shootout in Roseland on the South Side.

The boy was walking about 4:25 p.m. in the 11100 block of South Princeton when the occupants of two vehicles started shooting at one another, according to police.

He was struck in the abdomen and driven to Roseland Hospital, where he was listed in serious condition, police said.

Area South detectives are investigating.

Earlier in the afternoon, a 15-year-old girl was shot in South Chicago.

About 2:34 p.m., a red vehicle approached a group of people in the 2400 block of East 82nd Street, police said. Someone inside the vehicle fired shots, striking the girl in her arm.

She was taken to Trinity Hospital where her condition was stabilized, police said.

No one is in custody as Area South detectives investigate.

Additionally, a 31-year-old man was hurt in a shooting in Fuller Park on the South Side.

About 8:29 p.m., the man was in the 200 block of West 45th Street when someone fired shots, striking him in the arm, police said.

He took himself to the University of Chicago Medical Center where his condition was stabilized, police said.

No one is in custody as Area Central detectives investigate.
