Wicker Park residents are on alert after three armed robberies were reported within 10 minutes Friday in the North Side neighborhood.

The robberies were reported between 1:35 a.m. and 1:45 a.m. in the 2200 and 1700 blocks of West LeMoyne Street and the 1600 block of North Winchester Avenue, Chicago police said.

In each incident, two males showed a handgun and took property from the victims, police said, before fleeing in a possibly gray or silver Chevrolet Monte Carlo or Impala.

One of the suspects was described as a male standing between 5 feet, 1 inch and 5 feet, 4 inches and wearing a black hoodie and mask, police said. The other was described as a 5-foot-5 to 5-foot-7 male wearing glasses and a black hoodie.
