Woman critically wounded in Englewood shooting

She was with a group of people when someone across the street fired shots in the 5900 block of South Hermitage Avenue.

A person was fatally shot Dec. 6, 2020, in the 4900 block of West Hubbard Street.

The 26-year-old was shot in both legs and taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center June 8, 2019.

A 26-year-old woman is in critical condition after a shooting Saturday in Englewood.

She was on a porch with several other people about 2:42 a.m. in the 5900 block of South Hermitage Avenue when someone from across the street opened fire, Chicago police said.

The woman was hit in both legs and taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center, police said.

No one is in custody as Area South detectives investigate.
