A man was killed and another was wounded in a shooting Saturday in Little Village.

The men were in an alley about 2:42 a.m. in the 3000 block of South Trumbull Avenue when someone in a dark colored vehicle pulled up and fired shots, Chicago police said.

Juan Agredano, 42, was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital with multiple gunshot wounds to the back, police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said. He was pronounced dead at 6:44 a.m.

The 49-year-old was taken to the same hospital in serious condition with a gunshot wound to the shoulder, authorities said.

An autopsy conducted Sunday concluded Agredano’s death was a homicide, according to the medical examiner’s office.

No one is in custody as Area South detectives investigate.
