Police are warning residents about a series of burglaries since last month in Gage Park on the Southwest Side.

In each case, someone forced entry to residences and garages and took property from inside, according to a community alert from Chicago police.

The burglaries happened: 

  • At 3 p.m. June 20 in the 3000 Block of West 54th Place;
  • Between 1 p.m. June 25 and 9 a.m. June 26 in the 5200 Block of South Mozart Street;
  • Between 8:30 p.m. June 27 and 9:30 a.m. June 28 in the 5400 Block of South Fairfield Avenue; and
  • Between 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. June 29 in the 3100 Block of West 53rd Street.

No suspect description was available. Anyone with information should call Area Central Detectives at 312-747-8382.
