Police are warning residents about a series of armed robberies this month in Marquette Park on the southwest side.

In each incident, one or more suspects approached the victim, displayed a handgun and demanded personal items, according to Chicago Police. 

One robbery happened between 9 p.m and 10 p.m. on July 3 in the 6300 Block of South Campbell Avenue, police said. Two others happened in the 6300 block of South Rockwell Street, one at 4:15 a.m. on July 3 and the other at 12:50 a.m. on July 7.

The suspects are described as males between the ages 16 and 19, between 5-foot-4 and 5-foot-6, with black hair and wearing bandanas around their faces, according to police.
