A 27-year-old man from Minnesota was shot and killed Thursday in the South Shore neighborhood, police said.
Delano Ratliff was in the 1900 block of East 75th Street about 8:20 p.m. when someone approached and fired shots, striking him, Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said.
Ratliff was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said. He lived in Rochester, Minnesota.
Area South detectives are conducting a homicide investigation.
