A pair of burglaries were reported in the 2300 block of West 21st Place, July 2019, in Heart of Chicago.

Police are warning residents on the Southwest Side about a pair of home burglaries reported in the Heart of Chicago.

In both cases, someone forced their way into the home by pushing in an air conditioning unit and took property from inside, Chicago police said in a community alert.

A burglary was reported between 8 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. July 9 in the 2300 block of West 21st Place, police said. Another happened between 8 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. July 15 in the same block.

A description of any suspects was not immediately available.
