Man carjacked in South Loop

The 32-year-old man was parked in an alley when two men pulled him from his vehicle at gunpoint, struck him in the head with the gun and fled in his Dodge Journey, police said

Three armed robberies were reported at businesses in Bucktown and Logan Square March 2021. — A man was carjacked at gunpoint July 22, 2019 in the South Loop, police said.

A 32-year-old man was carjacked at gunpoint Monday in the South Loop.

The man was parked in an alley about 11:15 p.m. in the 1300 block of South Wabash Avenue when two unknown men approached him and pulled him from his vehicle at gunpoint, Chicago police said. The men then struck him in the head with the gun and fled the scene in his Dodge Journey.

The man refused medical treatment, police said.

No one is in custody as Area Central detectives investigate.
