Chicago police are warning about two robberies that happened in July 2019 in Back of the Yards on the South Side.

Chicago police are warning Back of the Yards residents to always be aware of their surroundings following a pair of armed robberies reported in July.

In each incident, at least two armed men approached the victim and either demanded their property or took it by force, according to a community alert from Chicago police.

The robberies happened about 12:10 p.m. July 10 in the 4800 block of South Justine Street and about 7 a.m. July 19 in the 4800 block of South Honore Street, police said.

Three men between the ages of 20 and 25 are suspected in the robberies, police said.
