A man was in critical condition Thursday after being shot several times in his groin in West Garfield Park.

The 36-year-old was arguing with someone in an alley about 9:05 p.m. in the 4000 block of West Lake Street when the person took out a gun and fired shots, Chicago police said.

He was taken in critical condition to Mt. Sinai Hospital with four gunshot wounds to his groin, police said.

No arrests have been reported, police said.
