Police are warning the community of work van thefts that happened Aug. 6-12, 2019, in several neighborhoods.

Police are warning residents of work van thefts reported in Belmont Central, Garfield Park and Dunning.

In each case, unknown suspects stole vans that were parked on the street overnight, Chicago police said in a community alert.

The thefts happened:

  • Between 10 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. Aug. 6-7 in the 3300 block of North Major Avenue
  • Between 4 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. Aug. 11-12 in the 4900 block of North Kedzie Avenue
  • Between 5 p.m. to 5:50 a.m. Aug, 11-12 6800 block of West Grace Street
