A bank was robbed Friday in southwest suburban Summit.

Authorities responded to a robbery about 1 p.m. at the BMO Harris Bank branch at 7549 W. 63rd St., according to the FBI.

The robber implied he had a gun but didn’t display it to anyone, the FBI said.

The suspect is described as a 6-foot-2 male who was wearing a red hat.

Summit police did not immediately provide further information.
