A Chase Bank branch was robbed Friday in northwest Indiana.

About 10 a.m., a man entered the Chase branch in the 1600 block of 45th Street in Munster and gave the teller a note demanding money, Munster police said. While he did not show a weapon, he implied that he had one in the note and he made off with an undetermined amount of cash.

The bank robber was described as a 6-foot man in his late 20s with a thin build, police said. He was wearing a gray or blue sweatshirt and dark pants at the time of the robbery.

No one was injured, police said.
