Police are looking for a person who allegedly broke into homes in August in Uptown.

Chicago police are warning Uptown residents of two residential burglaries reported in August in the North Side neighborhood.

In both instances, the intruder got in to the residence and removed property from within, Chicago police said in a community alert.

These burglaries happened overnight Aug. 10 and Aug. 13 in the 4800 block of North Magnolia Avenue, police said.

Police did not provide a description of any suspects.
