A woman was wounded in a shooting Saturday in Englewood on the South Side. 

She was outside with a group of people about 2 a.m. in the 2000 block of West 70th Place when a male on foot opened fire, Chicago police said. The 39-year-old was hit in the leg. 

She took herself to Holy Cross Hospital where her condition was stabilized, police said. 

No one is in custody as Area South detectives investigate.
