A couple of burglaries were reported in the 3200 block of West 16th Street, Aug. 2019, in Lawndale.

Police are warning business owners in Lawndale of a pair of burglaries reported this month on the West Side. 

In each case, someone forced their way into a business through the roof and took items from inside, Chicago police said in a community alert. 

A burglary took place between 3:40 a.m. and 4:15 a.m. Aug. 3 in the 3200 block of West 16th Street, police said. Another happened between 2:40 a.m. and 2:50 a.m. Aug. 23 on the same block. 

A description of any suspects was not immediately available.
