A 17-year-old girl was wounded in a shooting Friday in Humboldt Park on the West Side.

Two males followed her about 5 a.m. in the 1000 block of North Springfield Avenue and unleashed gunfire, Chicago police said.

The teen was hit in the back and taken to Stroger Hospital in serious condition, police said.

The alleged shooters were seen in a white vehicle, police said.

No arrests have been reported. Area North detectives are investigating.
