A pair of robberies were reported in the 2100 block of South Trumbull Avenue, Aug. 10 and 18, 2019, in Little Village.

Police are warning Southwest Side residents of a series of robberies reported over the last few weeks in Little Village.

In each case, one to four males approached someone and battered them before taking property by force, Chicago police said in a community alert.

A robbery happened about 4:30 a.m. Aug. 10 in the 2100 block of South Trumbull Avenue, police said. Another took place about 5:20 a.m. Aug. 18 on the same block.

Two more occurred in the 2100 block of South Spaulding Avenue, police said. One happened about midnight Aug. 21 and the other about 1:16 a.m. Aug. 26.
