2 wounded in Austin shooting

Two men were wounded in a shooting Saturday in Austin on the West Side.

About 5:10 a.m., they were in the 1500 bock of North Long Avenue when someone approached them on foot and opened fire, Chicago police said.

The men, 26 and 28, were each struck in the leg, police said. They were taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in serious condition.

Area North detectives are investigating.
