Man robs Jefferson Park bank

The suspect entered the Hoyne Savings Bank, 4786 N. Milwaukee Ave., and announced a robbery, according to Chicago police and the FBI.

A man robbed a bank Monday in Jefferson Park on the Northwest Side.

Shortly after 3 p.m., the suspect entered the Hoyne Savings Bank, 4786 N. Milwaukee Ave., and announced a robbery, according to Chicago police and the FBI.

He is about 40 years old and approximately 6 feet tall with a slim build, according to the FBI. He wore a red short-sleeved T-shirt and navy blue shoes.

A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information leading to his arrest, the FBI said. Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI Chicago Field Office at 312-421-6700.
