Two garages and one vehicle were vandalized August 1 in Wicker Park on the North Side, including a garage that was defaced with racist graffiti.

All three incidents were reported about 4:30 p.m. in the 1900 block of West Evergreen Avenue, Chicago police said. When officers arrived, they found a garage belonging to a 35-year-old man that had been covered in derogatory graffiti written in gray paint.

They also found the vehicle of a 32-year-old man and the garage of a 38-year-old man vandalized with the gray paint, police said.

Two males between 14 and 25 years of age are suspected in these incidents, police said. One can of gray spray paint was found nearby.

No one is in custody as Area North detectives investigate.
