A 23-year-old man died Saturday after he was shot multiple times in Gresham on the South Side, police said.
Jordan Grevious was sitting in the driver’s seat of a parked vehicle with his friends about 2:34 a.m. in the 8300 block of South Peoria Street, Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said.
As his friends left the car, another vehicle pulled alongside, and an occupant unleashed gunfire, police said.
Grevious was struck multiple times in the head and body, authorities said. He was taken to St. Bernard Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
An autopsy released Sunday found he died of multiple gunshot wounds, the medical examiner’s office said. His death was ruled a homicide.
