Man shot, robbed in West Town

He was fighting with a male in the first block of North Western Avenue, police said.

A 24-year-old man was shot during a robbery Saturday in West Town.

He was fighting with a male about 11:03 p.m. in the first block of North Western Avenue, Chicago police said. The male pulled out a gun and stole an unknown amount of money from the man.

He was taken to Stroger Hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg, police said. His condition was stabilized.

No one is in custody as Area Central detectives investigate.
