A woman was wounded in a shooting Sunday in Gage Park on the Southwest Side.

She was walking with a group of people about 3 a.m. in the 5100 block of South Maplewood Avenue when someone approached them on foot and opened fire, Chicago police said.

The 21-year-old was hit in the abdomen and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, police said. Her condition was stabilized.

No arrests have been made. Area Central detectives are investigating.
