A 17-year-old boy was wounded in a drive-by Tuesday in Pullman on the Far South Side.

He was walking about 7:50 p.m. in the 11900 block of South Stewart Avenue when a dark-colored SUV pulled up, Chicago police said. Someone inside the vehicle fired shots, striking the teen in the arm.

The boy was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn where his condition was stabilized.

Area South detectives are investigating.
