They were on the porch with a group of people when someone fired shots from a street corner.

A man and a woman were wounded in a shooting Sunday in Austin on the West Side. 

About 2:42 a.m., they were gathered with a group of people on the front porch of a home in the 5400 block of West Haddon Avenue when someone unleashed gunfire from the street corner, Chicago police said. 

The woman, 19, was hit in the hand while the 21-year-old man was struck in the shoulder, police said. They took themselves to West Suburban Medical Center and are in good condition. 

No arrests have been reported. Area North detectives are investigating.
