A 24-year-old man died in a shooting Sunday in south suburban Harvey.

Khahem Burks was shot multiple times about 2:25 a.m. in the 15500 block of Loomis Avenue, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office. Burks, who was a resident of Harvey, was pronounced dead within the hour.

An autopsy released Monday ruled his death a homicide, the medical examiner’s office said.

Harvey police did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
