A 28-year-old Fuller Park man has been charged in a Wednesday shooting that wounded a man on the South Side.
Marshaun Johnson is charged with a felony count of unauthorized use of a weapon and two misdemeanor counts of criminal trespass to a residence, Chicago police said.
Police said two men were arguing about 5:10 p.m. on the sidewalk in the 4200 block of South Wells Street when one of them pulled out a handgun and opened fire, Chicago police said.
A 33-year-old man was hit in the leg and taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center in good condition, police said.
Officers found Johnson in a home nearby, where officers took him into custody and recovered a weapon, police said. He is due for a bail hearing Friday afternoon.
