Authorities are warning residents about a pair of armed robberies last month in Logan Square and Bucktown on the Northwest Side.
In each case, a man approached the victim and demanded the person’s belongings at gunpoint, according to a community alert from Chicago police.
The first hold-up happened at 6:42 p.m. Dec. 23 in the 1700 block of North Troy Street, police said. The other occurred about 10 p.m. Dec. 29 in the 1700 block of North Western Avenue.
The suspects were described as men between 30 and 38 years old, standing between 5-foot-6 and 5-foot-8, police said.
