A man was released from custody after a Sunday robbery on a CTA Red Line train on the South Side.

Two people allegedly robbed a 24-year-old man by force about 8:15 p.m. on a Red Line train near the 47th Street station, Chicago police said.

A 20-year-old was arrested but later released without charging, police said Monday morning. The other robber fled the scene.

No one was injured in the robbery, police said.

Area Central detectives are investigating.
