Police are warning business owners about burglaries that happened in January and December in the Gold Coast, Ranch Triangle and on the Near North Side.

In each case, the suspects got into the businesses by breaking glass doors or prying entrances, Chicago police said in a community alert. They stole high-end clothing, purses, wallets and cash.

The burglaries happened in the early morning and morning hours on the following dates:

  • Dec. 18 in the 600 block of North State Street;
  • Dec. 26 in the 400 block of North State Street;
  • Dec. 28 in the 900 block of North Rush Street;
  • Dec. 28 in the 1900 block of North Clybourn Avenue;
  • Jan. 9 in the 100 block of East Oak Street; and
  • Jan. 26 in the 600 block of North Michigan Avenue.

The suspects are described at one to three males, police said.
