Chicago police are warning Washington Park residents about two recent apartment burglaries on the South Side.

In both incidents, someone entered the apartment through the back door and stole property from inside, Chicago police said.

The first burglary happened between 8 a.m. and 5 a.m. Jan. 13 in the 6100 block of South Wabash Avenue, police said. The other happened about 1:35 a.m. Jan. 24 in the 6000 block of South Michigan Avenue.

Police did not provide a description of any suspects.
