A man died Saturday night after he was shot in south suburban Dolton.

Christopher Livingston, 22, suffered multiple gunshot wounds in the 14200 block of Irving Avenue in Dolton, according to the Lake County, Indiana, coroner’s office. He lived in Dolton.

He was taken to Franciscan Health in Hammond, Indiana, where he was pronounced dead at 8:33 p.m., the coroner’s office said.

Dolton police did not immediately provide details about the time or circumstances of the shooting.
