Six apartments were burglarized recently in a small stretch of East Chatham on the South Side.

In each incident, someone broke into the apartment through a window or rear door, then took property from inside, Chicago police said.

The burglaries occurred at all hours of the day, police said. They happened:

· Dec. 16 in the 8200 block of South Maryland Avenue;

· Between Dec. 16 and Dec. 17 in the 8200 block of South Drexel Avenue;

· Between Dec. 19 and Dec. 24 in the 8000 block of South Drexel Avenue;

· Dec. 23 in the 8200 block of South Drexel Avenue;

· Dec. 24 in the 7900 block of South Drexel Avenue; and

· Between Dec. 27 and Dec. 28 in the 1000 block of East 80th Street.

Police did not provide a description of any suspects.
