Two people were robbed in December 2019 in Lawndale on the West Side.

Chicago police are warning Lawndale residents of two recently reported robberies in the West Side neighborhood.

In both incidents, a group of males approached someone on the street and took their property by force, Chicago police said.

The first robbery happened about 12:15 a.m. Dec. 7 in the 1900 block of South Central Park Avenue, police said. The second happened about 5:40 p.m. Dec. 23 in the 1900 block of South Drake Avenue.
