A convenience store was robbed at gunpoint Wednesday in Albany Park on the Northwest Side.

About 2:35 p.m., a male wearing all black clothing and a hoodie walked into a convenience store in the 4400 block of North Pulaski Road armed with a handgun, Chicago police said. The male forced the clerk to empty the cash drawers before fleeing.

No one was injured and no one is in custody, police said.

Area North detectives are investigating.
