Man fatally shot in West Pullman

A man was shot to death Thursday in West Pullman on the Far South Side.

He was involved in an argument with a person he knew about 6:30 p.m. in the 11700 block of South Indiana Avenue when the person pulled out a gun and fired shots, Chicago police said.

Sherrod Taylor, 24, was struck in the head and shoulder, and taken to Roseland Community Hospital, where he died, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Area Two detectives are investigating.
