A 25-year-old man died after being shot in the right shoulder and hip in the 2600 block of West 62nd Street, Chicago police said.

A man was shot to death Friday in Chicago Lawn on the Southwest Side.

He was shot in the right shoulder and hip about 10 p.m. in the 2600 block of West 62nd Street, Chicago police said. A friend dropped him off at Holy Cross Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The Cook County medical examiner’s office identified him as 26-year-old Recardo Fonza. He lived in Marquette Park. An autopsy conducted Saturday ruled his death a homicide.

No one is in custody as Area One detectives investigate.
