A man was shot to death Thursday in Roseland on the South Side.

Vincent Blackmon, 32, was shot in the abdomen about 5:41 p.m. in the 10900 block of South Wentworth Avenue, Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said.

Blackmon, who lived in Gresham, was dead at the scene, authorities said.

No one is in custody as Area Two detectives investigate.
