Teen boy shot in Humboldt Park

About 12:50 a.m., he was sitting in a parked car in the 3800 block of West Augusta Boulevard, when two males approached and fired shots.

Six cars were reported stolen since March 25, 2021 in West Side and South Side neighborhoods. — A 17-year-old boy was shot Oct. 31, 2020, in the 3800 block of West Augusta Boulevard.

A 17-year-old boy is in serious condition after being shot Saturday in Humboldt Park on the Northwest Side.

About 12:50 a.m., he was sitting in a parked car in the 3800 block of West Augusta Boulevard, when two males approached and fired shots, Chicago police said.

He was struck in the back and brought to Stroger Hospital for treatment, police said.

Area Four detectives are investigating.
