3 wounded in West Side drive-by

Three men were on the sidewalk when someone fired shots at them from a green KIA Soul, police said.

Three men were wounded in a shooting Sunday near the border of Homan Square and Lawndale on the West Side.

They were standing on the sidewalk about 4 p.m. in the 3800 block of West Roosevelt Road when a green KIA Soul drove by and someone inside unleashed gunfire, Chicago police said.

A 53-year-old was struck in the buttocks and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, police said. Another man, 22, was shot in the abdomen and the third man, 38, was struck multiple times.

The men were taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where they were listed in good condition, according to police.

No arrests have been reported. Area Four detectives are investigating.

The victims were sitting in a parked car in the 4100 block of West Taylor Street when they were shot, police said.
The man was in the 1000 block of West 105th Street when he was fatally shot, police said.
The men were in the 600 block of West Barry Avenue, police said. Two were in good condition and one was in serious condition.
The 26-year-old man was shot in the back while leaving a gas station in the 500 block of East 67th Street, police said.
“We just want justice for him, and we just want his name to be remembered,” said Nicole D’Vignon, the mother of Nicolaus Cooper, gunned down in March in Chicago Heights.
