Woman shot during domestic dispute in Austin

She was inside a home in the 4900 block of West Augusta Boulevard, when she got into an argument with a man she knew, and he shot her in the abdomen.

A 20-year-old woman was shot during a domestic dispute Wednesday in Austin on the West Side.

About 11:30 p.m., she was inside a home in the 4900 block of West Augusta Boulevard, when she got into an argument with a man she knew, and he shot her in the abdomen, Chicago police said.

She was taken to Stroger Hospital in fair condition, police said.

The man is not in custody, police said.

Area Four detectives are investigating.
