A 25-year-old man was found shot to death inside a parked car Thursday near Trinity Hospital on the South Side.

Officers responded to a suspicious car about noon in an alley in the 9300 block of South Oglesby Avenue, within a block of the Calumet Heights hospital, Chicago police said.

Officers found a man inside the car unresponsive with multiple gunshot wounds, according to police. Police determined that he had been dead for a while.

He was identified as Cyle Hemphill of Beverly by the Cook County medical examiner’s office. An autopsy ruled his death a homicide, saying he died of his injuries.

Area Two detectives are conducting a homicide investigation.
