A man was found shot to death Thursday inside a vehicle in Roseland on the South Side, police said.
A neighbor noticed a vehicle had been parked in his alley for a few hours in the 9900 block of South State Street and found a man shot inside, Chicago police said.
Officers were called about 12:15 p.m. and found a 24-year-old Tevin Newman with a gunshot wound to the back of his head, police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said.
Newman, of West Pullman, was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said.
An autopsy found he died of a gunshot wound and ruled his death a homicide, the medical examiner’s office said.
